LA guitar pop trio Haim (rhymes with time) has just released their debut album, Days Are Gone, on September 30. The three sisters sound can be identified as pop guitar indie rock on the r & b tip meet Wendy & Lisa. That’s what I’m going with, at least. Comparisons to Fleetwood Mac have been tossed about, while they have stated they are more influenced by Destiny’s Child and Jessie Ware.
The Wire was released as the lead off track for the new album, but they have been around breaking out big in the UK over the past year. Go figure, we are last to the party. Never the less, check these ladies out. Recommended listening. And look out for Lonely Island’s Jorma Taccone getting his heart broken in the video.
As an added bonus, here is their big single, Falling.
