Sia, Chandelier

Australian pop chanteuse Sia is about to release her sixth album, 1000 Forms of Fear, in July.

Best known for her aching Breathe Me, which closed out the television series Six Feet Under so absolutely brilliantly back in 2006, she just dropped the new lead off single to her new album. On first listen to Chandelier, I had to catch myself: it opens a bit Rhianna-esque, then at the chorus launches into some serious acrobatic vocals.

Damn this song should be a huge pop hit this summer. Shame on people if it isn’t.

And just in case you need to relive the. best. ending. of a television series, ever… well everybody’s waiting….
