The Raveonettes Release New Album Peʻahi, Share

Great Danes The Raveonettes surprised everyone today with the release of their new album, Pe’ahi (named after a surf spot in Maui).

The first track was debuted over the weekend as a special leak and download to fans, and it’s called Sisters. You can still download it for free from their website. It’s weaves in and out from surf lush to a frenzy of JAMC/ Medicine style fuzz. Love this.

The album opener, Endless Sleeper, was also shared with a lyrics video and lots of strobing. Cool song, and from what band member Sune Rose Wagner says, it’s partially based on a near drowning incident he experienced in Hawaii a few years back.
