Kristina Esfandiari is Miserable.
The singer songwriter, who has also recorded as King Woman, is releasing a new full length under the Miserable band name. Uncontrollable is due out at the end of April, and it’s shoegaze that is sad, melancholy and atmospherically beautiful.
Oven is a stark and brutal track that just makes you want to cry and melt into oblivion. It’s a song of loss, brooding velvet-wrapped shimmering guitar and Esfandiari’s throaty vocals full of ache. It’s quiet, cathartic, stunning.
