Baltimore dream pop duo Beach House have culled together a group of previously unreleased tracks, B-sides and rarities, and will be releasing them on June 30 as B-Sides and Rarities. It’s the first release from the group since 2015’s double drop of majesty, Depression Cherry and Thank Your Lucky Stars, but has music recorded all the way back in 2005 on it. The compilation is comprised of tracks the band love but did not fit into any of their previous releases.
One of the two previously unreleased tracks is Chariot, which was recorded during the last two album sessions. In true Beach House fashion, it’s sweeping and full of melancholy. Very lovely.
