Fischerspooner, Have Fun Tonight

NYC electroclash and performance art duo Fischerspooner are releasing their first new album since 2009 this fall. SIR is out in September, and was co-produced and co-written by Michael Stipe.

The first single, which was also collaboration with Boots, is Have Fun Tonight, “a queer dance ballad about polyamory (…or polyagony) encouraging your lover to go out and have fun without you.”

The group is also opening a new art exhibit next week at MUMOK in Vienna, Austria, which will the installation portion of SIR. It runs throught the end of October, and will feature music from the new album as well as be produced into an art book.
